Idea # 21: Praise Diary for your kid/yourself
How self confident are you and how did your parents instill this self confidence in you, if at all? Time ago I started writing down any kind of positive feedback that I got from various people - not that I would not be confident - I definitely am - but I think it's a great idea keeping in mind all the good work you do for other people. If you don't write it down you might maybe forget it.
Therefore create your own personal Praise book and if you plan of having children, start such kind of book from day One. Whenever he/she gets a compliment write it down, whether expressed in words, in gestures, or even in pictures. Give it to her/him once she grows older and I'm sure s/he will highly appreciate it. And if he/she feels down one day, it is an excellent way to get positive thoughts back quickly …..
